Gaura, India

I think my heart sank a little when I heard about the lockdown.
I remember immediately leaving the kitchen party & departing to my room to sulk. I was finally settling in, had a schedule, made plans for the coming weeks & was looking forward to the sunnier days but then everything became uncertain, it still is lol, but at least I can take a walk outside. Lockdown back home in India is way stricter. If caught outside, police can hit you. But not here. Here, I am allowed to go for a run & read at the beach.

It's been a month & I am coping better. I've stopped pushing myself to have a schedule at all & do things only when I really want to. I now look forward to 'little' cooking sessions with my other two classmates that last hours because we end up watching crappy reality shows & I am also loving staying up all night making origami birds from magazine papers. But most of all, I am glad that the sun is out as it is helping keep my spirits up! *Lots of sun-bathing too*
