Anna, Denmark

My nephew's small fingers are groping at the phone camera, he's saying noises I don't really understand, but I can tell they're different from the last time I saw him.
When he saw my picture on my sister's phone, he said something which sounded very close to Anna – I never heard him say my name before, him only being a little more than a year and a half when I last saw him in February. It's April, and I miss my family like crazy.

I chose for a long time ago to not travel with public transportation across Denmark to see them. Instead I'm listing "visit my family" as one of the many points on the list of things I'm looking forward to doing when this corona lockdown is over. My life hasn't been that bad since our prime minister told everyone to stay at home. I've been spending long days in bed with my boyfriend and watching series with my roomies – but still, spring doesn't really feel like spring. I sure hope summer will still feel like summer.
